IndiGO to start Flight Services for Bhubaneswar-Jaipur
IndiGO airlines will start direct flight services to the Pink City Jaipur from Bhubaneswar from November 2, 2021.
Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia informed regarding this to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
“M/s Indigo is commencing flights between Bhubaneswar and Jaipur with three frequencies per week w.e.f. November 2, 2021. Government of Odisha has also extended initial incentive to the airline for commencement of the referred routes ” the Union Civil Aviation Minister’s letter read.
Union Minister added, ‘I hope that, the connectivity between Temple City, Bhubaneswar and Pink City, Jaipur would not only enhance tourist footfall but would also provide a boost to economic activities in both the States’.
Earlier, Pradhan had written to Scindia in September urging the latter to start direct flight operation between the two cities.
The airline shall operate flight services between Bhubaneswar and Jaipur three in a week.
