KISS Observes World AIDS Day

Bhubaneswar, Dec 2: Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, the NGO that is engaged in upbringing and educating tribal children, in association with the Odisha State AIDS Control Society observed the World AIDS Day on December 1, at the KISS campus. A spectacular sight was seen as 15,000 tribal students of KISS made a human chain to organize themselves and form a huge red ribbon.

In addition they all pledged to spread awareness about the disease, the infection in their respective localities at the rural most and inaccessible regions of Odisha.

Health and Family welfare minister Pradeep Kumar Amat graced the Occasion as chief guest, while many other Minister, MLA’s, Secretary of state and other Bureaucrats were present.

Apart from this, the organization also attempted claim the Largest Human Chain in A Red Ribbon Shape, for entry in the Guinness World Records.
