Missing of School Teacher Mamita Meher deepens
Mystery over the missing of School Teacher Mamita Meher deepened further. A woman’s body was exhumed from an under-construction stadium site of the school on Tuesday.
Identity of the body is yet to be established. Mamita’s family were also present at the site, but could not recognize the body.
The remains of the dead body found, will be sent to laboratory for DNA test, police sources said.
But, it is suspected that, Mamita was murdered and buried at that spot.
Mamita’s colleague has informed her brother about the involvement of Govind Sahu, managing committee president of the school, in sexually h
arassing the female employees of the school. This is heard from a audio clip featuring a conversation between her brother and her colleague.
Also, Mamita’s colleague was saying her brother that, Sahu had called Mamita on the pretext of an official meeting, a day before she went missing. That is why, it is suspected that, Sahu has murdered Mamita.
Govind Sahu was detained by Police, but he escaped from police custody on October 17 night. As said, Sahu had been to bathroom on the pretext of washing his hands and from there he fled away.
Mamita Meher’s family members alleged that, Govind Sahu is involved behind Mamita’s missing. They have lodged an FIR. On the basis of the FIR, Police had detained Govind Sahu.
