Naveen nominates Sarojini Hembram as BJD candidate for Baripada Assembly seat

Nabarangpur: April 06: Naveen Patnaik intensified his campaign in Nabarangpur Lok Sabha Constituency today. Addressing at various places of the constituency, he slammed the center over negligence towards Odishsa. He said, ‘Central leaders had never visited the tribal district during five-year tenure, but now are visiting to woo voters’.

BJD Supremo said, ‘We have given top priority to farmers’ welfare in our Election Manifesto’.

Naveen questioned, ‘Why the Center stopped SC/ST Scholarship Scheme? Why it obstructed Mahanadi River? Where was the farmer insurance? Why can’t they hike MSP?’’ Likewise, he asked questions related to new rail line for Nabarangpur, irrigation to farming land and many others.

Citing an example of negligence, he said, Odisha spent Rs.20,000 crore for Irrigation where as Centre sanctioned only Rs.250 crore.

Speaking on KALIA money dues, he said, Rs.10,000/-(amount towards two-intallments) will be transferred to farmers  in a row on the first day of formation of BJD government in Odisha.

He also assured to serve the people till his last breath.

Chief Minister said, ‘I’m always with you and remain so. Bless me and Cast your vote in favour of conch symbol. Cast it twice, one for the MLA candidate and another for the MP candidate.”
