Bhubaneswar, Sept 2: Rainfall has occurred at a few places over Odisha with Heavy rainfall at one or two places over North Odisha. Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours rainfall of 4.2mm along with thundershowers thus having a maximum and minimum temperature of 31 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius respectively on Saturday having a cloudy atmosphere all around.
The relative humidity will be 98 percent at its maximum and 91 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT Sub-Division.
On Saturday, northern parts of the state will witness maximum showers. On Sunday heavy rainfall will be at Coastal Odisha. On Monday, North Odisha will have very heavy showers with heavy in the South of the state and on there will be a rise in the sea level height up to 2-3m. On Tuesday, North Odisha will have heavy showers and there will be a rise in sea level height up to 2-3m. On Wednesday, conditions will remain the same as on Tuesday but there will be no rise in the sea level height.
On the basis of weather report submitted by the MeT officials, there is no significant change in the climate as of now.
The highest maximum temperature of 34.0oC was recorded at Titlagarh and the lowest minimum temperature of 19.0oC was recorded at Sundargarh in the plains of Odisha.
