North and South Odisha to get drenched in the next five days

Bhubaneswar, Sept 5: Southwest monsoon has been active over Odisha. Rainfall has occurred at most places over Odisha with Heavy to very heavy rainfall at one or two places over Interior Odisha and heavy rainfall at one or two places over Coastal Odisha.

Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours rainfall of 32mm along with thundershowers thus having a maximum and minimum temperature of 29 degree Celsius and 24 degree Celsius respectively on Tuesday having a cloudy atmosphere all around.

The relative humidity will be 100 percent at its maximum and 96 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT Sub-Division.

On Tuesday, North Odisha will have heavy showers and there will be few down in the South of the state. On Wednesday, conditions will remain the same as on Tuesday. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, heavy rainfall is likely to occur in north and south but interior parts may have maximum rainfall.

On the basis of weather report submitted by the MeT officials, there is no significant change in the climate as of now.

The highest maximum temperature of 30.6 C was recorded at Malkangiri and the lowest minimum temperature of 19.5 C was recorded at Sundargarh in the plains of Odisha.
