NTPC hosts career counseling programme for students

Kaniha, March 18: A career counseling programme for students of nearby villages was organized by NTPC Talcher Kaniha under its CSR initiative from February 8 to 11.

The programme was inaugurated by AK Ojha , GM (HR) at TTS Auditorium. On the occasion, Ojha provided his valuable insights on the importance of knowledge of various career choices available for students and choice of good career. Around 490 students of class IX and X from nearby High Schools of Bijigol, Kaniha, Derang and Gandaberana gram panchayats participated in the programme for seeking career guidance.

RKS Mangesh Dash was the faculty of career counseling programme.  The programme was aimed at providing information to students on various career choices, help students to select a course of study, making students aware on their patterns of study for future.
