Bhubaneswar: An Odia is among two Indian nationals kidnapped by Islamic State (IS) from Sirte in war-torn Libya.
Official sources said that the islamic militants have detained Pravash Ranjan Samal along with Ramamurthy Kosanam from Andhra Pradesh.
According to the Spokesperson of Union Ministry of External Affairs Vikas Swarup, “Our mission in Tripoli is making further inquiry for confirmation of the incident. The matter has been taken up at diplomatic level.” He added, “All efforts are being made to ensure well being and secure early release of our nationals”.
