Bhubaneswar: May 30: Due to the significant rise in pass percentage in the Matric examinations this year, Odisha Government took the decision to increase the number of seats for Class-12 in Higher Secondary Schools across the state, informed School and Mass Education Minister Sudam Marndi today.
The increase in the number of seats will come into effect from the upcoming 2023-24 academic year, the minister said.
The government is also getting ready to open 106 new higher secondary schools across the state in addition to the seat expansion.
