June 10: Body of a newborn boy packed in polythene bag was recovered from a toilet pan of District Headquarters Hospital in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur today.
A patient’s attendant saw the body at the toilet and informed the hospital staffs. Following which, the hospital staff recovered the body from the toilet.
The Hospital authorities have initiated investigation into the crime.
The body has been sent for post-mortem.
CDMO Ajay Kumar Baitha said that, action will be taken whoever is involved in the matter.
