Bhubaneswar, Sept 3: Noted poet, Dr Hrushikesh Mallick will be honoured with the prestigious, Sarala Puraskar, an award instituted by the Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust (IMPaCT), an organisation established by the IMFA Group, at a special function to be held here on October 26. It’s stated that the poet would be honoured with the book named “Jeje Dekhinathiba Bharat”. Along with this he will also be conferred with a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh and citation.
Similarly, the Ila Panda Smaraki Sangeet Samman award would be conferred upon eminent singer, Dr Gopal Chandra Panda and as stated in the earlier news, late Dr Dinanath Pathy would be given the Ila Panda Smaraki Chitrakala Samman posthumously for their valuable contributions in the field of music and art. They would be given Rs 1.5 lakh each as cash reward.
All this was announced by the Indian Metals and Public Charitable Trust (IMPaCT) here last evening.
Notably, The Sarala Puraskar has been given by the trust every year since 1979.
