Odisha’s Covid-19 daily cases have been growing since last few days. Today, It has reported 424 fresh cases. Out of which, 67 cases are under 18 years of age. 249 cases of 424 fresh cases were in quarantine and 175 are local contact cases.
Yesterday, 159 people have recovered from the disease. Odisha’s Covid tally (since the beginning of the pandemic) increased to 10,55,556. Of this, 10,44,962 people have recovered from the disease.
Active Caseload has jumped to 2078.

Khurda District recorded 177 fresh cases in 24 hours, followed by Cuttack 45, Sundergarh 38, Samablpur & Jharsuguda 15 cases each, Puri & Keonjhar 14 cases each and Bargarh 10 cases.
40 cases have been detected from the State Pool.
So far, 10 districts of State do not have fresh cases in 24 hours.
Only one death recorded in 24 hours, as stated by Odisha Health & FW Department. With this, total death toll increased to 8463.
61652 samples have been tested during last 24 hours and daily positivity rate 0.68 per cent.
