Bhubaneswar: October 28: Odisha registered 1540 new Corona Positive Cases in last 24 hours. 886 are Quarantine cases and rest 654 are local contact cases as per Health Department’s data.
Khurda District continues to record highest cases. In last 24 hours, it has reported 208 new cases, followed by Sundergarh 111 cases, Angul 100 cases, Balasore 92 cases and Mayurbhanj 91 cases.
With 1540 new cases, total cases in Odisha increased to 2,85,482 and out of that, 2,68,115 cases have recovered from the disease. Now, 16,030 cases are active.
Also, according to Health Department, 12 patients have died in last 24 hours due to Coronavirus. With this, total death toll in Odisha rose to 1284.
