Bhubaneswar: August 25: Odisha reported 2,752 fresh Corona Positive cases in 24 hours, taking the total tally to 84,231. According to Health & Family Welfare Department, out of 2752 cases detected, 1708 were in Quarantine and rest 1044 are Local Contact Cases.
Again, Khurda has reported highest number of fresh cases i.e.423, followed by Cuttack (247),Jajpur (217), Ganjam (212), Rayagada (177), Koraput (174), Puri (144), Mayurbhanj (137), Balasore (129), Nayagarh (103), Jagatsinghpur (101), Malkangiri (101), Kendrapara (97), Kandhamal (95), Gajapati (60), Bhadrak (58), Sambalpur (55), Sundergarh (44), Bargarh (28), Keonjhar (28), Nabarangpur (27), Angul (23), Kalahandi (16), Jharsuguda (15),Bolangir (14), Boudh (11), Nuapada (8), Deogarh (6), Dhenkanal (1) and Sonepur (1).
With this, total cases in the State increased to 84,231. Out of which, 56,925 patients have already recovered.
In last 24 hours, 9 patients died due to Coronavirus. Total death toll in the State due to Corona rose to 428.
At present, 26,825 cases are active in the State.
