Odisha to set up largest Covid-19 hospital within a fortnight

Bhubaneswar: March 26: Odisha is going to set up the largest COVID-19 hospital in the Country.

Odisha Government today signed tripartite agreements with SUM and KIMS Medical Colleges here to set up 1000 bed in Bhubaneswar. Both the hospital will be functional in a fortnight.

As reported, Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) and Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) shall support the hospitals from their CSR fund.

The first MoU has been signed by Health Secretary Nikunja Bihari Dhal, Vyneel Krishna, Managing Director of OMC and KIIMS management to set up a 450-bed hospital.

The second MoU was signed by the Health Secretary Nikunja Bihari Dhal, S.S. Panda of MCL and SUM management to set up a 500-bed hospital.
