Bhubaneswar, 11th August : An announcement has been made today by the Higher Education Department about the schedule for students’ union elections in colleges across the State.
The polling for the students’ union elections will be held between 8 AM and 2 PM on September 23, a higher education department notification said.
While the candidates will file nomination papers on September 16, the last date of withdrawal of nomination is September 18. The list of valid candidates will also be published on September 18 at 5 pm.
On September 22, the ‘why I stand for’ meeting will be held. The oath taking ceremony will be held after the elections on September 25.
