Odisha wins Ranji Match against Maharashtra by an innings and 118 runs

An interesting match got the eye of the visitors when team Odisha Bowled Maharashtra out twice in a single day for 94 in the first innings and 107 in the second, in their Ranji Trophy match played at Wayanad.

After getting bowled out at 319 in their first innings on the second day, Odisha bowlers bowled out Maharashtra just for 94 by lunch still trailing by 225. Unfortunate, the Maharashtra team leading to a follow on, batted again. But Odisha’s magnificent bowling attack beat them down clean at 107 and the play ended with a massive win for Odisha just on the second day of the play.

Thanks to Biplab’s 89 and Deepak’s 58 that helped Odisha reach 319.

Odia Bowlers, Biplab get four wickets in the second innings of the Match while Suryakant Pradhan get seven, Basant Mohanty get five and Deepak Behera get four wickets each in both the innings of the play.

Maharashtra’s batting failure and Odisha’s continual bowling attack created a big embarrassment for the former team.
