Bhubaneswar, Apr 22: After the shocking incident of sale of plastic eggs in Bhubaneswar came to fore, the Govt. of Odisha yesterday has ordered a probe into the incident.
Odisha Health minister, Pradip Amat has yesterday ordered the food safety commissioner to probe into the matter. Talking to the media, Amat stated, “the health department recently has come across a type of plastic egg, which they will soon collect a sample off, and will go for testing in the laboratory.”
Notably, the sale of plastic eggs first came up in Kerala in 2016, which led to a public outcry during the time. People had alleged that the eggs are being manufactured in China, said sources.
