Berhampur, Dec 31: In a police encounter, a horrendous criminal named Mithun Bhuyan was injured after sustaining bullet injuries on his legs on Friday.
The encounter took place on the Bhanjangar- Durgaprasad road, Ganjam.
Police has seized a pistol, Bike and four live bullets from Bhuyan.
Around eight robbery cases registered against Bhuyan in different police station have been pending and as said, he is also involved in the loot case of Buguda jewellery shop, which took place on 31 October, police official informed.
