Bhubaneswar, Aug 1: On being provided with a formal report from the jail officials the DCP of the capital city, Satyabrata Bhoi confirmed that the police authorities would initiate the necessary steps need to be taken against Artha Tatwa (AT) chief, Pradip Sethi for his suicidal attempt that too inside the premises of the Jharpada jail on late Saturday night.
Jharpada jail Superintendent, Rabindra Swain reported to the media the condition of Pradip saying that nothing major had happened to him and his suicidal attempt was just a prank to fear the jail authorities. He further added that for the time being Pradip has been kept in the ward after being undergone necessary treatment from the jail doctor and also an extra warden has been appointed to keep a check on him. Sethy’s wife made a visit to the jail on Sunday morning to enquire about her husband’s health conditions but unfortunately she was not allowed to meet because of the prohibition of public meeting on holidays.
