Robbers Take Blessings: Robbers Rob Couple, Take Blessings & Promise To Return Stolen Goods Within 6 Months
Ghaziabad, August 31: In a funny ‘Robbers Take Blessings’ incident, 4 armed robbers robbed an old couple from their residence at Sector-9, Ghaziabad. Shockingly, the robbers while leaving the place, took blessing from the old couple by touching their feet and promised to return the stolen things including the cash and jewellery within 6 months.
According to police sources, at around 3.30am, an old couple, notably, Surendra Verma and his wife Aruna Burma of Rajnagar, Sector-9, Ghaziabad, were sleeping when 4 armed robbers, with the help of gas cutters, cut their iron gate and entered their house in an intention to rob them. The robbers, took the couple as hostage and robbed about Rs1.5 Lakh cash and Rs 4 lakh worth of gold jewellery.
While leaving the house, the robbers, touched the feet of the elder couple and took their blessings. The robbers while leaving, gave the old couple a Rs500 note and accepted their mistake of robbing them, but they also promised to return the cash and gold within 6 months. After the incident, after being informed, the police reached the scene. A case has been filed in this case and an investigation has also been launched.
