Rourkela, Apr 20: Following to the murder case of a scrap business man of Rourkela, identified as Ananda Panda, the second additional district & session court in the city has awarded life imprisonment to the two accused.
Considering statements from 31 witnesses, the court has awarded the sentence.
Particularly, identified as Rabi Nair and Mahesh Gop, the two accused had murder Panda relating to a business rivalry in 2013. In the meanwhile, the court has cleared Jhonson Munda and Manoj Gop of all charges.
Notably, on June 15, 2013, few miscreants on a motorcycle interrupted Panda who was on his way home from a grocery shop. He was first shot from close distance and then was attacked by a sharp object. Though he was hurried to the Fertilizer Hospital soon, but unfortunately, the doctors declared him dead.
