Rahul Gandhi’s Demand After SIT Report
There was a lot of uproar in Parliament today over the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. Opposition MPs in the Lok Sabha were aggressive on the SIT report against Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra’s son Ashish.
Several Congress MPs in Lok Sabha, including Rahul Gandhi, on Wednesday, moved an adjournment motion in the House over the Lakhimpur Kheri incident and demanded the removal of Ajay Kumar Mishra as Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs.
The investigative team probing the case, admitted that the bloody clash on October 3 was not an accident. After 70 days on Monday, Chief Investigator Vidyaram Diwakar, who appeared in the CJM court on behalf of the investigation team, filed an application in the court and appealed to remove the section of accident and increase other sections including attempt to murder on all the 13 accused including the main accused Ashish Mishra. On which the court had ordered all the 13 accused to appear in the court on Tuesday.
