Bhubaneswar, June 25: Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar (BJB) College bagged the top position in the second cut-off list for admission in the Plus-II streams when the Higher Education Department published the same today at 11 am, with a cut off mark of 91.33% for Science, 81.67% for Commerce and 72.33% for Arts.
It was followed by Ramadevi Women’s College with a cut off mark of 85.33% for Science, 66.63% for Commerce and 68.83% for Arts.
Ravenshaw College in Cuttack recorded cut off marks at 91.33% for Science, 78.53% for Commerce and 70.33% for Arts whereas for SCS College in Puri the marks were 75% for Science, 60.67% for Commerce and 66.83% for Arts.
The Fakir Mohan Autonomous College in Balasore, the cut-off were 85.4% for Science, 45.33% for Commerce and 71.33% for Arts.
Accordingly, the students will have to take required admission from June 27 to June 29 as classes are scheduled to begin from July 14. As of now, 2, 72, 339 seats have been filled up out of 4, 00, 059 across 1, 544 colleges. The third list will be published on July 4 and admissions for which will start from July 8 and continue till July 9.
