Sambalpur: In a shocking incident, miscreants pelted stone at the Tapaswini Express this morning. The stone pelting was done in between the Rengali and Jharsuguda stations.
According to information, this morning at the Lapanga station around 5.45 am stones were pelted at the AC coach number 7. The Tapaswini Express was heading towards Hatia.
The glass of the train broke and fell inside the boggie. Luckily, none of the passengers were injured informed the Railway police force officials.
The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained. Who and why the stones were pelted is to be found out.
The Jharsuguda RPF lodged a complaint in this regard. The officials of Jharsuguda RPF rushed to the Lapanga station and started an investigation into the matter.
