Bhubaneswar: The first meeting of the BJD’s Political Affairs Committee will be held at Naveen Niwas today. BJD President Naveen Patnaik formed the Political Affairs Committee.
The Political Affairs Committee is the high-level committee of the party. This committee, which will be chaired by BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik. There will be 10 members.
However, many senior leaders have not been included in the committee. Senior leaders like Raja Swain, Prasanna Acharya, Anang Uday Singhdeo, Devi Mishra, Arun Sahu, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak did not find a place in the committee.
In the coming days, various programs of the Biju Janta Dal and the current political situation are likely to be discussed.
The committee will take important political decisions including election strategy, candidate selection and policy formulation.
Since the first meeting of the committee is being held, some important decisions may be taken.
The Political Affairs Committee is the top-level decision-making committee of the BJD with Supremo Naveen Patnaik as its head.
