Bhubaneswar: April 25: India reported 24,942 confirmed COVID-19 cases till date, as per the latest information by Health Department. Out of which, 5209 persons have been cured/discharged and the death toll stands at 779.
As reported, at present, India has 18953 active cases.
In last 24 hours, 1490 new coronavirus cases and 56 deaths have been reported in India.
Total number of cases in Maharashtra rose to 6817 with 301 deaths. 4447 positive cases are from Mumbai only, followed by Pune with 1020 cases. Dharavi in Mumbai has total 220 cases.
Number of confirmed cases in Gujarat reach 2815, followed by Delhi (2514 ), Rajasthan(2034), Tamilnadu (1755), Madhya Pradesh(1952) and Uttar Pradesh with 1778 COVID-19 patients.
Andra Pradesh has 1061 confirmed covid-19 cases whereas Karnataka and Kerala have 489 and 451 cases respectively.
