Transport halted from Udala to Balasore due to overflow of Deo River

Udala, July 26Continuous showers of monsoon have resulted in the sudden overflow of rivers in the Balasore district thus obstructing communication and transport.

A district of Balasore named Udala has witnessed massive rainfall due to which water levels in the Deo River there have risen thus submerging a temporary bridge at Odapala hindering road communication between Udala and Balasore.

The rising water levels have also submerged roads at Brundagarh. Water limit have also exceeded in the Sanj River because of the unstoppable rainfall. As per the previous reports transport has been put at halt between Udala and Baripada due to the swelling Deo River.
