Bhubaneswar, March 18: The State GovernmentFriday effected a minor reshuffle in senior IAS cadre and appointed 2005 batch officer Vineel Krishna, who has returned from central deputation as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Smart City Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).Krishna will also hold the charge of Managing Director of Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC). According to a government notification, 1990 batch officer Sanjeev Chopra was given the additional charge of OMC Chairman.
He will also continue as Secretary Industry and IDCO Chairman, 2000-batch IAS Akhila Bihari Ota was posted as Central division Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC). 2002 batch IAS SN Girish was appointed as Director, Special Project while 2003 batch officer Dr Nitin Bhanudas Jawale was posted as Tourism Director. He will continue to hold OTDC Managing Director charge, official sources said.
