Bhanjanagar, Sept 18: Today on the Mahaguda-Mujaguda road under the Bhanjanagar police limits in Ganjam district, criminal Sana Jaga succumb to severe injuries in a police encounter.
It’s stated that while he was heading on the said road along with three other aides in two bikes, the cops intercepted him. Bomb hurling and firing began from both sides but unfortunately, Jaga and his aides managed to flee. But the cops fired at Jaga and his aides injuring the Jaga’s leg. The police seized ten bombs, pistol, live bullets and two bikes from Jaga’s possession.
Notably, Jaga is a most wanted criminal as he has his involvement in various criminal offences in Bhanjanagar and its bordering areas with Kandhamal. As many as 13 cases are pending against him.
