20 patients tested positive for dengue virus in Malkangiri, Odisha

Malkangiri: While the disease Japanese Encephalitis has claimed many lives in Malkangiri district, now its dengue that has affected the district.

As per sources, the reports received between October 11 and November 3 show that around 20 patients, mostly children, have been tested positive at the district headquarters hospital (DHH) for the dengue virus.

As per the information from Dr Chittaranjan Nayak, Odisha Health Services Director only three persons in Malkangiri have so far been affected by dengue virus since January.
