Bhubaneswar: August 24: India recorded 61,408 new Corona Positive Cases in last 24 hours, pushing the total tally to 31,06,348.
Also, 836 persons died due to Coronavirus in last 24 hours and the total death toll increased to 57,542. The fatality rate now stands at 1.85 per cent, as per the information provided in the Health Ministry’s website.
With 57,469 patients recovered in last 24 hours, total number of recovered cases in the Country rose to 23,38,035. The recovery rate has improved further to 75.27 per cent.
At present, 7, 10, 771 cases are active in the Country.
Maharashtra has recorded 6,82,383 COVID-19 cases till date, followed by Tamilnadu (3,79,385), Andhra Pradesh (3,53,111), Karnataka (2,77,814), Uttar Pradesh (1,87,781), Delhi (1,61,466), West Bengal (1,38,870), Bihar (1,21,947) and Telengana (1,06,091).
