Bhubaneswar: August 02: India recorded 54,735 new COVID-19 Positive cases in last 24 hours. With this, total cases in the Country increased to 17,50,723. Out of 17.5 lakh cases, It is interesting to note that, in a single day, 51,255 patients have recovered from the disease, taking the total recovered cases in the Country to 11,45,629. Also, the recovery rate has gone up to 65.44 per cent.
As reported by Health Ministry, 5,67,730 cases are active and under treatment.
853 casualties took place in last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 37,364.
