Puri, Aug 27: Yesterday the cops took Rabi Das into custody. He was later produced at the court as informed by the city DSP. Rabi Das is one of the eight servitors who had been absconded after being responsible for misbehaving with the Puri Collector and the media in Niladri Bije on July 17.
On Thursday, the Orissa HC rejected the anticipatory Bail petitions of three other miscreants, Damodar Mahasuar, Jayakrushna Mahasuar and Saina Khuntia. They are also included in the list of Absconders.
