Bhubaneswar: April 22: The number of Coronavirus positive cases in India has reached 20471 on Wednesday i.e.22nd April’2020 and 652 people have died so far due to COVID-19, according to the latest data released by Health Ministry.
Also, it is informed, 3959 patients have recovered from the disease. So, as on date, there are 15859 active cases in India.
Maharashtra is the worst-hit state with 5221 positive cases, followed by Gujarat 2272), Delhi (2156), Rajasthan(1801), Tamilnadu (1596), Madhya Pradesh(1592), Uttar Pradesh (1412) and Telengana with 945 COVID-19 patients.
Number of confirmed cases in India increased to 1329 in last 24 hours.
Andra Pradesh has 813 confirmed covid-19 cases whereas Karnataka and Kerala have 425 and 427 cases respectively.
1486 cases reported in India in last 24 hours with 49 deaths.
