Bhubaneswar: August 26: India witnessed an upsurge in daily Covid cases. In last 24 hours, 46,164 new cases were found, taking India’s tally to 3,25,58,530.
Out of 46,164 cases, Kerala has share of 31,445.
The country registered 34,159 recoveries in the last 24 hours and total recoveries reached 3,17,88,440. Recovery Rate currently remains at 97.63%.
Active caseload stands at 3,33,725. This is 1.03% of total cases.
607 people succumbed to the disease in last 24 hours and the total death toll increased to 436365.
60.38 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
Daily positivity rate (2.58%) less than 3% for last 31 days.
